Youth Tennis Lessons for children. Check specific listings for age availability. Three different levels of play offered based on skill level.

Tennis Squirts
Tennis Squirts is a fun-filled learning adventure that introduces children aged 3 to 4 to the world of tennis. Children will have great fun learning the fundamental skills and tennis strokes in a low pressured, fun environment. Following guidelines set out by the US Tennis Association (USTA), children will quickly develop their tennis skills, using the highly appraised '10 and Under Tennis' model.

Red Ball Foundation Tennis (Beginner)
Players will play on a 36’ modified court, using red felt or foam balls, hitting over a pop-up net. Red tennis balls move slower and bounce lower than orange balls. These classes are suitable for participants aged 8 and under.

Orange Ball Foundation Tennis (Intermediate)
Players will play on a 60’ modified court, using orange felt balls. These tennis balls move slower and bounce lower than green balls. These classes are suitable for children aged 8 to 11.

Green Ball Tennis
Players will play on a full-size court, using green balls. These tennis balls bounce slightly less than traditional yellow balls. These classes are suitable for children aged 11 to 14.

Fall Adult Paddle Tennis

Fall Adult Paddle Tennis - 220264

Platform, or "Paddle" tennis is played on a raised tennis lined mini-court, screened in by wire panels on all sides. It is played like tennis, with a heavier ball, and a shorter heavier paddle, but with one considerable difference: if the ball bounces in the court first, it can rebound off of the wires and still be in play. The result is an addictive sport where nearly every shot can be safely returned. We play in the winter and with a little practice, you'll be sweating in the snow!

Classes are taught by Rod McGreal, a certified Paddle Tennis Instructor with over 25 years of teaching experience.

Advanced Beginner Paddle Tennis- This class dives deeper into skill building and strategizing. Each student will have a stronger understanding of how to return screen shots and successfully serve and volley. Strategy will step beyond knowing where to stand, and move into how and when to be offensive and defensive. Players MUST have previous paddle tennis playing or learning experience.
