Artists must register by February 29th. Township residents, age 16 and older, may register to exhibit in this non-juried show. $0 entry fee to submit one title, not for sale. $25 Entry Fee to submit up to four titles and/or list artwork for sale. Space is limited.

Exhibit will be open March 16 through April 7 at the Somerset County Environmental Education Center, located at 190 Lord Stirling Road, Basking Ridge. Open 9am-5pm daily. Closed 3/29 & 3/31.

For active older adults aged 55 and above, our classes cater to all skill levels from beginner to advanced. We focus on drawing techniques tailored towards those interested in painting, particularly with watercolors, given the environment of the room. Please note that we do not teach oil or pastels.

Our aim is to empower senior students to feel successful within their capabilities and preferences. Alongside instruction, there's a strong emphasis on socialization and learning from both the instructor and fellow classmates. To ensure accessibility, we begin with simple materials such as a number two pencil, an eraser, and drawing paper, considering the expense of art supplies.
Refunds must be requested by Friday, March 29, 2024. No refunds after this date/time. A $10.00 processing fee will be accessed to all refunds.
