Platform, or "Paddle" tennis is played on a raised tennis lined mini-court, screened in by wire panels on all sides. It is played like tennis, with a heavier ball, and a shorter heavier paddle, but with one considerable difference: if the ball bounces in the court first, it can rebound off of the wires and still be in play. The result is an addictive sport where nearly every shot can be safely returned. We play in the winter and with a little practice, you'll be sweating in the snow!

Classes are taught by Rod McGreal, a certified Paddle Tennis Instructor with over 25 years of teaching experience.

Intro to Paddle Tennis- This 4 week class introduces all of the basics of Paddle Tennis. All of the main strokes will be covered, as well as scoring and basic strategy. By the end of the 4 weeks, you will be able to play a match, keep score, and know where to stand. Paddles are provided.
